Cold
continious cut

Designed for safe cold cutting of steel tanks and plates up to 15 mm thick, the tank cutter is our alternative to flame cutting or cut-off grinding. Whether in scrapping, crushing metal structures, as an addition in industrial demolition or in confined internal demolition/coring – the robust booster system made by Darda makes this possible even with small carrier equipment. No matter if railroad wagons, grain, water, oil and fuel tanks the tank cutter guides itself in the cutting gap without slipping out in the continuous cut, which is up to 20cm per cut. Thanks to the conical neck, a curved cut is also possible.

Due to its “cold, pulling” cutting action, even coated tanks with residual contents can be cut easily without the risk of flammable vapors! Thus, effective and safe working is possible even during running operations or in busy environments.
